Casa Rosaura
Rosaura is of a typical Asturian design known as a quintana, it incorporates a covered patio where geraniums and hydrangeas flourish, depending on the time of the year. During the summer season this area becomes a second living room with its small garden which is for the exclusive use of houseguests
A perfect place to undertake the Asturian ritual of cider drinking. Natural cider is poured from a bottle held at arm's length above your head into a special wide mouthed glass that is held in your other hand close to knee level.
This process oxygenates the otherwise still cider greatly improving the flavour, but it must be drunk immediately after being poured, when it's in its frothy state.
